Living well during hormonal treatment
WISH is exploring how women receiving hormonal treatment after early breast cancer can be better supported throughout follow-up closer to home, while remaining connected with their oncology team.

Why this matters
Hormonal treatment is a long journey
Hormonal treatment, also called endocrine therapy, is an important part of care for many women with hormone-receptor-positive breast cancer. It is usually continued for several years after initial treatment to help reduce the risk of the cancer returning.
During this time, women may experience changes in their physical, emotional and social wellbeing. Regular follow-up is therefore important not only to monitor treatment, but also to understand how women are feeling and what support they may need.
Every woman’s experience is different
WHAT CAN MATTER DURING FOLLOW-UP?

Help us shape better follow-up – join the WISH Patient Board
We want women’s experiences and perspectives to help shape WISH throughout the project. We are inviting women with experience of early breast cancer and hormonal treatment to join our WISH Patient Board.
As a member, you may be invited to share your views on the follow-up model, digital tools, patient information, communication materials and other project activities. Your input will help us make WISH more relevant, understandable and responsive to women’s needs.
